Hello, my name is Brittney Poff, the owner of Revitalizing Birth and Lactation Support, LLC. I am a full spectrum Doula/Birth Keeper, Placenta Specialist, IBCLC, and Reiki Master. I'm also a wife and mother of two beautiful kids. I am also neurodivergent. I have been a lover of pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding for as long as I can remember! I got started in this work after having my own children and realizing that there's no way birth had to be like THAT. You know, confined to bed, told you have to do X, Y, and Z. Inductions that are not needed. Not taking care of root causes for some things that come up in pregnancy. After the unmedicated birth of my daughter, I just knew I had to both share my experience with others and help those who were looking to experience what I did! I hope to one day pursue midwifery and start serving clients exclusively in the homebirth setting. I'm that person you can find talking about crystals, the moon, and asking if you want your cards read or need a reiki session. I love doing crazy things to my hair, getting dolled up, and dreaming of tattoos and other piercings I want someday. It's safe to say, I am not either typical nor a conservative person. I of course respect those in all walks of life, but if you're not the type to be open to all kinds of people and walks of life too, then we may not get along! My ultimate goal is to help my clients to be informed about their bodies from pre-conception to pregnancy and birth, to have a smoother transition into parenthood, plan for their post partum experience, and to reach all their breastfeeding/chestfeeding goals and then some. This is accomplished by a perfect mixture of both holistic and evidence based care and listening to what my clients truly want.
